FOOD & WINE’s Executive Wine Editor, Ray Isle, teaches participants about the world’s sparkling wines, from champagne to cava. The seminar includes a tasting and takes place on Saturday, October 18, from noon to 1:15 p.m. on the 3rd floor of Hudson.

2 - $46 for one admission to Salted, Smoked, and Cured: An Italian Specialty Foods Seminar hosted by Lou Di Palo and Anthony Giglio—Celebrity Cruises® Pairing Seminars hosted by FOOD & WINE ($100 value)

Lou di Palo of Di Palo’s Fine Foods and wine writer Anthony Giglio teach participants to pair wine with classic Italian cheeses as well as salted, smoked, and cured meats. The seminar takes place on Saturday, October 18, from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. in Hudson’s mezzanine.

3 - $46 for one admission to Riesling Revival, hosted by Eric Hemer—Celebrity Cruises® Wine Seminars hosted by FOOD & WINE ($100 value)

Master Sommelier Eric Hemer leads a blind tasting of some of the world’s best dry and off-dry Rieslings. The participant whose rankings most closely match the pros’ gets a prize. The seminar takes place on Saturday, October 18, from 2:30 to 3:45 p.m. on the 3rd floor of Hudson.

4 - $46 for one admission to Dim Sommelier: A Redfarm Pairing Seminar hosted by Ed Schoenfeld and Josh Wesson—Celebrity Cruises® Pairing Seminars hosted by FOOD & WINE ($100 value)

Dim sum expert Ed Schoenfeld of RedFarm restaurants and award-winning sommelier Josh Wesson teach participants about the art of pairing. Their specific focus? Pairing wine with Chinese delicacies, from wontons to hotpots. The seminar takes place on Saturday, October 18, from 3 to 4 p.m. in Hudson’s mezzanine.

5 - $46 for one admission to Burgundy: The True Terroir hosted by Laurent Drouhin—Celebrity Cruises® Wine Seminars hosted by FOOD & WINE ($100 value)

Laurent Drouhin of Maison Joseph Drouhin shares the history of burgundy, along with the history of his family’s wine-making estate. On the Drouhins’ Burgundy property, they’ve been crafting the area’s eponymous wine since 1880. The seminar takes place on Sunday, October 19, from 12:30 to 1:45 p.m. in Hudson’s mezzanine.

6 - $46 for one admission to The Antinori Family’s Interpretation of Sangiovese hosted by Audrey Herd-Smith—Celebrity Cruises® Wine Seminars hosted by FOOD & WINE ($100 value)

Participants sample some of Italy’s best wines, created by the Antinori Family. One of the family’s best vintages? Tignanello, made exclusively from Antinori Tignanello’s vineyard’s grapes. The seminar takes place on Sunday, October 19, from 2:30 to 3:45 p.m. in Hudson’s mezzanine.

At Food Network & Cooking Channel New York City Wine & Food Festival presented by FOOD & WINE's events, culinary experts share some of their favorite things to eat and sip as part of their mission to "Eat. Drink. End Hunger." Many of NYCWFF's featured personalities are acclaimed chefs with beloved television shows: attendees may rub elbows with the likes of Chopped host Ted Allen or Mario Batali—owner of 27 restaurants, author of 10 cookbooks, and cohost of The Chew.

At the festival's events, guests can also broaden their palates through a range of experiences, including tastings, cocktail parties, and gourmet food fights between celebrity chefs and up-and-coming culinary starlets. It's for a good cause, too: 100% of the NYCWFF's net proceeds go directly to Food Bank For New York City and the No Kid Hungry® campaign.
