What You'll Get
Photographs transport people to an earlier time without the need to master quantum physics or pay the tolls associated with Canada's wormhole highways. Capture fleeting moments for future examination with today's Groupon: for $99, you get a one-hour photo portrait session with an 8"x10" framed print from Celebrity Photo Studio (up to a $295 value). This Groupon is valid either on-location or at the studio.
Proudly snapping shutters since 1985, professional photographer Robert Young orchestrates portrait photography with professional skill and artistic aplomb. Offering portrait sessions for both families and individuals, Celebrity Photo Studio affords models the rare chance to be frozen in time under perfect lighting. During the one-hour session, either at Celebrity Photo Studio's versatile studio space or on location anywhere in St. John's, Mr. Young snaps a copious number of shots that may encompass varying poses and compositions. Sessions result in a professionally framed 8"x10" print ideal for wall-hanging, gift-giving, or moustache-drawing practice. Up to 10 people can be photographed in one session, and all subjects should aim to rendezvous with Robert 10 minutes before appointment time.
Robert Young together with spouse Lynn Young keep Celebrity Photo Studio a vibrant and multifarious business, lending their professional expertise to industrial photography, wedding photography, and photo-retouching and digital services. Currently working on a photo project that will culminate in 40 large portraits being shown in three well-known galleries across the nation, Robert Young has an uncommon eye for providing glimpses of a subject’s pleasant disposition that even an emoticon-ridden letter of recommendation cannot match.

About Celebrity Photo Studio
As the clicking shutter brings fleeting darkness to the lens of his high-resolution Hasselblad H4D-40 camera, Robert Young's memory stirs up snapshot recollections of his father's darkroom in the mid-1960s. As a born-and-raised shutterbug, Robert eagerly transitioned from the domestic darkroom of his youth to the infinite possibilities of the digital realm. Working with his wife Lynn, Robert harnesses decades of photographic experience to thoughtfully compose Celebrity Photo Studio's striking, colourful images while continuously pushing boundaries with new technology and lighting methods. Though Robert's keen artistic eye has allowed him to soar over picturesque coastlines and dive deep into underground mines to photograph hard-hatted workmen and mole-people family reunions, he also enjoys capturing ineffable moments at weddings, childhood milestones, and family gatherings.
