Holmberg's Happy Ending brings a lineup of left-of-center and straight-up hilarious comedy to Phoenix's Celebrity Theatre. Headliner Jim Breuer came to fame on Saturday Night Live, where he was known for characters like Goat Boy and impressions of Joe Pesci. He co-starred with Dave Chappelle in stoner cult-comedy Half-Baked and his goofy, high-energy delivery has been showcased on The Late Late Show, Jimmy Kimmel Live and his own hour-long Comedy Central special, Let's Clear the Air. Identical twins Randy and Jason Sklar (Curb Your Enthusiasm, Entourage) have mastered nearly all entertainment fields, from TV to film to podcasting, but they still make time to shine on the stage, where their rapid-fire comedy continues to hilariously evolve. Bouncing back and forth off each other, their work is a postmodern take on the comedy team where neither man plays it straight. Also on the Happy Ending bill is comedy vet Emo Philips, whose brilliantly absurd jokes and deadpan falsetto have made him one of the most unique stand-up stars. Earning praise from the likes of "Weird Al" Yankovic and Jay Leno, Philips has inspired a generation of one-liner comics, but there's still nobody quite like him.
