Q:

Is the effectiveness of this treatment similar to sclerotherapy?

Vera H.  asked on  Dec 13, 2012

If your veins are more then 2mm in size then sclerotherapy would be a better option. The laser works best on small veins. It will have the same effectiveness if not better results on the smaller veins than sclerotherapy.

Q:

I have 1 on each leg. I'm 36 years old and they just recently appeared. They are kind of faint but I don't want them to get any worse. Will this treatment get rid of them? Or will they return? Is it best to treat this now while they are light before they get any worse? Thank you kindly! Amy

Amy P.  asked on  Dec 13, 2012

A:

As long as the veins are small spider veins and not varicose veins, the laser will get rid of them. It is best to do them now so they don't get worse.

Hi Amy... It would depend on how many veins you would like to treat. We will treat as many as we can on one area in the allowed time frame.
