About Center for Healing Arts & Massage
Vince Anthony Pitre is a certified hypnotherapist who leads the clinical hypnosis and therapy services at the Center for Healing Arts & Massage. Prior to becoming a hypnotherapist, Pitre was an overweight, chronic smoker and binge drinker for a period of time in his life before eventually seeking hypnotherapy treatment to successfully break his addictions. It has been 20 years since he smoked or drank, but Pitre continues to rely on hypnosis to maintain a healthy body weight, reduce stress, and lower anxiety. Inspired by the positive impact of hypnosis on his life, Pitre opened his own clinical hypnosis and therapy practice to help clients resolve trauma, fear, grief, and pain related to unwanted habits or detrimental behavioral patterns.
At the Center for Healing Arts & Massage, the extensive experience of the staff has earned them nominations for CityVoter's Best Massage in 2011 and 2012, and includes expertise in 10 different massage modalities. They can soothe the senses with an aromatherapy massage, or use a deep-tissue techniques to address chronic pain from stress or wearing sweaters made of steel wool. The center shares the crew's vast knowledge by training up-and-coming massage and reflexology professionals at an in-house school. They also promote wellness via nutritional supplements and relaxing spa treatments.
