Einstein’s Dreams, the wry, wild and surprisingly moving adaptation of Alan Lightman’s bestselling novel returns just in time to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the famed physicist’s Theory of General Relativity. Set in Switzerland in 1905, the play finds Einstein newly married and working as a patent clerk, while his brilliant mind works overtime at night, churning out some troubling but meaningful dreams. This Underground Railway Theater production at Cambridge’s Central Square reunites the cast from the 2007 world premiere of the piece, including Steven Barkhimer, Robert Najarian and Debra Wise.
