About A Chat with Cerami Integrative Medicine & Acupuncture
What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition? Being an integrative practice, our goal is to work with your other doctors to improve your overall quality of care. We place a lot of attention on nutrition, on lifestyle, and stress management. We treat with acupuncture, herbal medicine & supplements, labs tests... but most of all with caring.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business? Often, health problems are not isolated to one thing. Our emotional state and physical activities, diet, environment, etc. all combine with our genetics to create our wellness level, and understanding the complexity takes more than the 5 minutes most MDs are willing to spend on patient care. However, their knowledge is valuable. I wanted to build a practice that bridges the two sides.
What do you love most about your job? Everything. I like listening to my patients, seeing their improvement, and most especially, I love to see someone who was once terrified of acupuncture (as I was myself) become its biggest fan.
What is the best reaction you've ever gotten from a customer? I'm often told that I am sweet and caring, a good listener, calm, supportive. Of course, I cherish all of this, but my favorite moments are when patients who openly tell me of their skepticism leave my office in disbelief & delight. I love this!
