Q:

Hi - I was wondering if you ever do Hike and Bike (The Bike Part) - A couple of freinds and i would like to hike up Pikes peak (we go fairly regularly) and then Bike down from the top. But this would mean departing from the top at 1 or 2pm - we were thinking of doing this in either July or August (Longer days - and picking a very assured good weather day). I could advertise a bit with other friends if we need a minimum group size for a groupon special?

David s.  asked on  Apr 23, 2013

A:

Hi David, Thanks for your interest in our bike tours. We have tried on an off through the years to run trips in the afternoon, but have given up because dealing with the afternoon weather is next to impossible. You can never be guarenteed a good day up there after 1:00. An options would be to hike to Barr Camp, spend the night and finish the hike early in the morning and be on top to ride with us around 9:00. Let me know. thanks, Tini
