Chamber Orchestra of New York brings a mix of old and new in its winter concert at Carnegie Hall. In addition to pieces by Rossini, Bach and Schubert, the program will feature Italian violinist and 2015 Respighi Prize winner Irene Abrigo in the New York premiere of Dirk Brosse's Black, White and In Between, and the U.S. premiere of Vaughan Williams' Burley Heath, a seldom heard early work from the British composer. The program concludes with Schubert's Symphony No. 5, which pays tribute to the composer's love for Mozart.
