What You'll Get
Reflexology is based on the theory that points on the feet connect to others areas in the body, which has the potential to revolutionize both modern medicine and the lyrics to “Dem Bones.” Reconnect with today’s Groupon to Changing Lives in Johnston. Choose between the following options:
- For $40, you get one 60-minute reflexology treatment with a Bio Energizer detox foot-spa treatment (an $80 value).<p>
- For $105, you get three 60-minute reflexology treatments with Bio Energizer detox foot-spa treatments (a $240 value).
Changing Lives’ two certified reflexologists practice ancient holistic medicine to encourage stress relief and well being. During one-hour reflexology sessions, a trained healer gently presses certain areas of the patient’s feet. This compression targets nerve endings thought to relate to issues with circulation, poor balance, or allergic reactions to jelly sandals. Sessions conclude with a dip in the Bio Energizer detox foot spa, which aims to draw toxins from the body’s lymph glands while giving the feet a relaxing soak.

About Changing Lives
After running a reiki and reflexology booth at a health expo, Joanne Salem decided to create a permanent wellness center. She officially opened the doors to Changing Lives in 2010, and since then she has helped to reduce numerous clients' aches and stress levels through advanced healing and relaxation techniques. Joanne has experience working with all manner of people, with past clients including a woman who previously wouldn't let anyone touch her feet and another woman whose plantar fasciitis was so severe that she felt like she "was walking on rocks."
Changing Lives also regularly hosts wellness-related events and seminars, led by Joanne or a life-sized cutout of Richard Simmons.
