What You'll Get
Back when the snickerdoodle and the thin mint were nothing more than dance crazes, sock-hopping teens secretly wished for tiny candied frisbees to complement their moves. Wishes do come true with today's Groupon: for $13, you get one-dozen cookies at Charleston Cookie Company (a $25.95 value).
Charleston Cookie Company freckles special-recipe cookie dough with pecans, raisins, and other tasty accoutrements to manufacture gourmet cookies by the bag or the dozen, a practice that helped it snag the U.S. Chamber of Commerce's Blue Ribbon Award in 2011. Patrons can choose either one-dozen chocolate-chip or pecan-chocolate-chip dough discs to pick sides in the long-standing dispute over cookie superiority, or escalate tensions by choosing the assorted cookies option. Splash double-fudge-chip cookies in a cold glass of milk (not included), or flip the script by pouring milk from a champagne flute over a white-chocolate-lime circle snack. The store also skirts sucrose by baking four varieties of sugar-free cookies, such as oatmeal golden raisin.
