What You'll Get
Making food from scratch typically requires advance preparation, adherence to a recipe, and your third and final genie wish. Save the third wish for more wishes with today's Groupon: for $15, you get $30 worth of grill fare and drinks at Charlie Brown's Family Sports Grill & Bar in Prairieville.
Charlie Brown's Family Sports Grill & Bar's friendly staff fosters an atmosphere of fun, football, and taste exploration via the extensive menu. As patrons snack on servings of boneless buffalo wings ($7.99) or dine on oyster po boys ($10.99), they can feast eyes on all the season's LSU football games, showcased on seven big screens, broadcast on 18 monitors, and announced through the megaphone of a wandering carnival barker. Main courses such as a bacon cheeseburger ($8.99) or a cream-sauce- and crawfish-topped eggplant Charlie ($17.99) morph cacophonous stomach grumbles into mellifluous stomach purrs. As adults cheer on their favorite players, kids entertain themselves in the grill's arcade, dutifully zapping away french-fry-nabbing ghosts and space invaders.

About Charlie Brown's Family Sports Grill & Bar
Since 2003, Charlie Brown's Family Sports Grill & Bar has paired an extensive menu of grilled sandwiches, steaks, and seafood with a feast for the eyes made up of 25 large flatscreen televisions. The restaurant's buffalo chicken wings come with or without bones, just like the majestic buffalo chickens of yesteryear, and its charbroiled and grilled burgers are piled with enough delicious bacon, cheese, and sautéed mushrooms to distract children from the kids' arcade for a while. Dishes such as fried soft-shell crab and shrimp alfredo offer a seafood angle to the entree list, which also documents chicken-fried steak and 14-ounce rib eyes served, and 8-ounce filets served with with veggies and mashed potatoes. To help guests to wash down hearty meals and salute the local sports memorabilia draped on the walls, the bartenders have composed a long list of beers, specialty drinks, and wines.
