The culinary team at Chef Ami is made up of scientists. At least, they follow the scientific method. They research, test, and rework until they've created the healthiest recipes possible, each inspired by flavors and techniques from around the world. As part of this process, every recipe has to meet certain criteria: it should be under 700 calories and take no more than 30 minutes to prepare and cook. The chefs don't do all the work, though. Recipes and all the necessary ingredients are shipped in parts to the consumer, empowering them to craft their own meals.
Delivered to doorsteps once a week, Chef Ami's refrigerated boxes are filled with ingredients that, in most cases, just left the farm a few days prior. Meats and vegetables are sure to be fresh and in-season, and sourced from local or high-quality producers who use only organic, sustainable, and humane growing practices. A new three-course menu is featured each week, and recipes are listed step-by-step to ensure users don't miss a measurement or accidentally clone Ted Danson. In addition to helping the environment, Chef Ami also helps people: for every meal purchased, one is donated to Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida to help feed under-served children throughout the state.
