About CHEF IT UP 2 GO - Somerset County Travel Team

Chef It Up opened in 2003 and began showing kids how to prepare healthy meals while staying safe in the kitchen.The cooking school's classes only teach how to cook allergy-safe foods and take place in a peanut- and tree-nut-free environment. The school also offers adult-friendly classes, including cake decorating and appetizer preparation.

Chef It Up proved to be such a success that it soon opened locations across the country and spawned Chef It Up 2 Go, which sends out traveling teams of chefs to everything from kids' birthday parties to corporate events. The chefs cart with them the equipment and ingredients necessary to blend smoothies or bake cupcakes, and they also host cooking battles sure to inspire cheers, laughs, and at least one slow cap.
