What You'll Get
Scientists agree that the only reason adults have children is so they have a socially acceptable reason to visit amusement parks, eat at novelty pizza arcades, and see movies with Shreks in them. Put some fun in the oven with today's kid-friendly Groupon: for $15, you get a five-punch admission to The Chelsea TreeHouse (a $31.25 value) in Chelsea. Babies from 1–12 months old, and a person aged 16 or older accompanying a child, are admitted free.
The Chelsea TreeHouse, voted Best Indoor Playspace by Nickelodeon's Parents Connect, lets kids of all kid-ages romp in an indoor adventure land while their parents watch from a cushy viewing area. The 1,200-square-foot climbing structure challenges children to slide down its five slides, gallop across troll-guarded swinging bridges, and play baseball against retired major leaguers in a toddler area. With relaxing sounds of frenetic playtime in the background, parents can lounge in black leather couches, padded chairs, and at spacious tables.
The Chelsea TreeHouse's play-all-day policy allows parents and future-adults to come and go all day at their leisure, accommodating mid-day naps or late-afternoon biathlons. Though not covered by this Groupon, The Chelsea TreeHouse serves healthy, homemade refreshments, including Zingerman's gourmet coffee. Expect a one-hour wait for weekends, spring break, and holidays.
- It is a very fun place and, as a parent, I especially appreciate that it is clean and that the staff is always watching to make sure both kids and parents are having a good experience! – larka, Parents Connect
- A must is the tall spiral green slide. Go down it and you will instantly feel like you are 8 yrs old again! – emeril l., Yelp, 2/22/11
