Choose Between Two Options
- $250 for an afterschool All-Star Fashion Camp for Basics or Beyond Sewing Camp for one ($599 value)
- $135 for an eight-week fashion course for one ($360 value)
At the afterschool Fashion Camp (recommended for ages 10 and up), kids will learn about the design process from beginning to end. After creating inspiration boards and sketches, they use sewing machines to make their conceptualized garment a reality. The camp wraps up with a fashion show. The Sewing Camp (recommended for ages 8 and up) presents an opportunity to learn how to use sewing machines and cut patterns, among other skills. Students will complete two projects by the camp’s end, which will feature a fashion show.
Fashion classes meet twice a week for eight weeks. Classes revolve around your choice of subject: American Girl Doll Design, Fashion 101, Accessory Bonanza!, or Fashion Upcycling.
Cheryl Fudge Fashion Camp
High fashion isn't just for the rich and famous—it's for anyone who steps inside one of Cheryl Fudge Fashion Camp's locations. Even better, those locations offer an opportunity for visitors to be part of the creative process, which is normally reserved for women who can afford custom gowns or cats that are muses for their fashion-designer owners. You can try your hand at breathing new life into old jeans or making a dress from scratch, and the designers here will help turn your vision into a wearable garment. They have everything you need to get started, from a fleet of sewing machines to sparkly embellishments to basic clothing that acts as a blank slate. Beginners, hobbyists, and future Lagerfelds are welcome during open studio hours, and the staff also provides ample instruction during summer camps, birthday parties, and girls' night outs.
