Chesapeake Hot Yoga offers a full schedule of heated and warm classes in the largest hot studio in Hampton Roads. During each 75-minute session, friendly instructors guide you through a series of 26–30 postures while the heat helps your body stretch deeper and improve its circulation (click here to read more about hot yoga's benefits). Chesapeake Hot Yoga offers hot classes throughout the day as well as beginner-oriented "light and warm" classes, which slow the rhythm of each stretch. Plan on drinking two 16 oz. waters or four 8 oz. melted ice cubes throughout one hot-yoga class, and if it's your first time, feel free to take breaks.
Chesapeake Yoga offers complimentary towels, props such as blocks and straps, and men's and women's shower facilities. The studio's bright-yellow tones, blond wood, gleaming fixtures, and large hot room match its warm philosophy, as do its instructors. The director, who discovered yoga during her quest for relief from a stomach disorder, trains her staff according to a Yoga Alliance–approved program of philosophy, physiology, and fusibility. There's no need to register, so just drop-in to any 10 classes and start purging your system of pesky toxins, feeling your muscles and tendons soften into Gumby-esque suppleness, and sweating out tension from every pore.

About Chesapeake Hot Yoga - Previous Owner DUPE!!
At Chesapeake Hot Yoga, yoga isn't a religious practice or a bodybuilding routine. It's a way to cultivate wellness while expressing oneself. Helmed by Arianna Gallagher, a globetrotting instructor who's trained with famous yogis such as B.K.S. Iyengar and Bikram Choudhury, the studio pairs alignment-focused teaching with a spirit as warm and inviting as a welcome mat made of hot coals. Led by experienced and registered instructors, Bikram-inspired Hot Yoga classes revolve around 25–30 poses performed in a sweltering classroom. In addition to limbering muscles, the temperature promotes blood flow, pain relief, and toxin release. During restorative Yin classes, yogis of all levels can borrow free blocks, straps, and towels to bolster lengthy, floor-based poses. After class, students can stay for a massage or practice yogic breathing techniques in the locker rooms, where calming steam swirls around gratis bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.
