Try the salmon with shrimp! Ex!

The best way to capture a wild, rampaging meal is to hook it with a gigantic pasta lasso. Test your roping arm with today's Groupon: for $15, you get $35 worth of Italian dinner cuisine and drinks at Chiapparelli's Restaurant in Havre de Grace.

Chiapparelli’s is an award-winning Little Italy mainstay known for its saucy bowls, acclaimed house salad, and generational legacy. Start your evening dining experience, with antipasti such as fried provolone with homemade tomato sauce ($6) or gently fried calamari fritti dipped in marinara sauce ($8). Homemade pasta dishes all include the restaurant's famed house salad and freshly baked golden loaves. Vegetarians can veer toward the drooling gnocchi, delicate food purses filled with Italian cheeses and served with creamy parmigiano and tomato sauce ($17), or the besto pesto, a creamy conglomerate of pine nuts, parmesan, and basil pesto available un-meated ($17), or with chicken ($19) or shrimp ($24). Chiapparelli's serves five veal dishes and a variety of sea-meat selections, including seafood ravioli ($26) and shrimp primavera serio, drenched in a creamy pink sauce with fettuccine ($25). A children's menu features little-people pleasers, such as chicken fingers and spaghetti and meatballs ($8 each, including beverage).

Plan a romantic date at the quaint eatery, where white tablecloths convey dinner-party fancery. Or, wrangle your best buds and post up at the old-fashioned, glossy bar for a glass of wine after a particularly bromantic meal.

About Chiapparelli's Restaurant

Chiapparelli's first opened its doors to Baltimore's Little Italy in 1942, regaling diners with a tradition-inspired approach to Old-World cuisine that the founding family's present generations continue to embrace. The chefs simmer pots of ripe tomatoes, onions, and herbs to craft marinara sauce and deftly form meatballs and ravioli by hand. By incorporating steamed clams, lump crabmeat, and fresh kraken, they allow the mid-Atlantic region's maritime ingredients to influence the menu's iconic, transatlantic flavors. In recognition of the family's commitment to hearty and nostalgic Italian cuisine, Zagat praised the menus of both the Little Italy and Havre de Grace locations, rating them each as "very good to excellent."

We went on a night that appeared to be really slow The service is good, although the servers should use their inside voices when talking to customers Everyone in the area knew the entire conversations between server and each table As a result we witnessed a customer who purchased a restaurantcom coupon for the restaurant and the server would not honor it The customer paid for their food and gave us their 20% coupon for a future visit, because the restaurant would not honor the coupon The Shrimp and Crab Luigi was awesome, however my boyfriend had the tour of Chiapparelli and was not impressed
