Chicago Ale Fest
Chicago Ale Fest is a celebration of hops, suds, and everything else beer-related in the Windy City. But not just any beers gain admittance to the lineup of more than 200. The festival emphasizes American craft brews—specifically those from hometown heroes such as Half Acre, Goose Island, and Revolution Brewing. Seeing as how even those three can't be considered "little guys" anymore, CAF also celebrates concoctions from lesser-known Chicagoland names such as 51st Ward, Finch's, and One Trick Pony. But the party isn't just for locals, and craft beers hailing from elsewhere also get their due. Factor in a hard-rocking musical lineup and tasty treats from some of the city's most sought-after restaurants and Chicago Ale Fest is guaranteed to be a night to remember.
