More Questions and Answers

Q:

Hi. The food voucher is the same as the ticket voucher? So I assume the ticket staff wont take the groupon from me?

Gene K.  asked on  Dec 31, 2012

A:

That's correct. Your bar code will work once at the entrance and once at the food court. Be sure to keep it with you.

Q:

Can the 20 dollar food credit be used towards the purchase of alcoholic beverages?

Jasmine A.  asked on  Dec 28, 2012

A:

I'm not sure about your questions whether alcohol is included in the food court credit. I am attempting to get the answer from the McCormick Place food service folks. I'll post the answer ASAP.

Dave C.  from  Merchant  replied on  Dec 30, 2012

A:

There is no alcohol available at the food court where this voucher is good for redemption. You can get a heckuva corned beef sandwich, though.

It is good for beverages that they sell in the food court, which, I have just been informed, does not include alcohol.

Q:

I was charged $12 for 2 tickets but only received one! How can I get the 2nd ticket [already paid for] or a refund of $6

LOUIS M.  asked on  Dec 31, 2012

A:

Hi Louis! I just checked your account and you successfully purchased two Groupons. Here is how you access your vouchers:

While signed in, place your cursor over your name at the top right of the screen and click "My Groupons". If the Groupon you are trying to print was purchased as a gift, it will be under "My Gifts". After you’ve reached that page, click “View Voucher” to download the PDF file of the Groupon(s) to your computer. You will see a "View Voucher" button for each Groupon. Once that file opens, you can print it like you would any document.

If you need further help, please contact Groupon support.

Q:

I just purchased 3 but I want to give 2 to someone else. Should I have purchased those as gifts? Will this cause a problem for their admittance? (We are wanting to go together)

Kelly C.  asked on  Dec 31, 2012

A:

Hi Kelly! I'm sorry for the confusion! In order to make redemption as simple as possible, neither the purchaser or gift recipient name is displayed on the printed Groupon. This allows Groupons to be easily gifted to friends or family.

Q:

Is the show wheelchair accessible?

Eileen P.  asked on  Dec 29, 2012

A:

Yes, elevators are accessible for use at the show. The elevators operate during the entirety of the Chicago Auto Show. There are handicap accessible restrooms for guests at the Chicago Auto Show in the McCormick Place. There is one restroom on the building's fourth floor, near Room S400, that accommodates one customer at a time if needed.

Q:

Is Friday considered a weekday or weekend?

Alex R.  asked on  Dec 28, 2012

A:

Is that a trick question? Unless we have gone to a four day work week, I still consider Friday a weekday! I hope you enjoy the show.

Dave C.  from  Merchant  replied on  Dec 28, 2012

Q:

Why this ticket is for weekday only?? The ticket rates are same for weekday and weekend so why the restriction? Also, what about ticket for child under 7. It is free with a paid ticket but that needs to be bought while buying the ticket. Is this covered in this?

Samip D.  asked on  Dec 28, 2012

A:

It's good for the holidays mentioned above. Your child should be let in. If you have a problem, show your Groupon voucher at the box office.
