Chicago Bubble Soccer League

The Chicago Bubble Soccer League puts a collision-inducing spin on an internationally popular game. Players compete in games of soccer, following most of the traditional rules, with one major exception: they're encouraged to knock their opponents to the ground. That's because each player is encased in an inflated bubble from the hips up, safeguarding them from injury while fulfilling their dreams of living as a hot air balloon. No goalies prevent shots from flying into the net, as keeping one's balance can be as difficult as confusing a goaltender. The bubble league also features co-ed and male-only formats to ensure players can compete with their friends or make new ones.

The game was first seen on a Norwegian sports show, and has spread to other parts of the world including Italy and the United States. It even made an appearance on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.
