AMAZING EXPERIENCE for my two boys! I wasn’t even looking for fishing school but the Groupon add came up and I booked it simply because the offer was really affordable and I thought it could be fun thing to do. Johnny was very patient and the 4 hours with him today was the highlight of our summer trip to Chicago. Thank you Johnny for this highly informative and fun experience for my boys. What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
Seeing people struggle to fish, I have always wanted to share success. Sharing some easy, inexpensive tips opens others local waters to real adventure and excitement. Someday, I wish to be in the angling hall of fame as a teacher of many anglers.

What do you love most about your job?
The excitement that comes from stories and pictures of people and kids who catch a lot of fish after my lessons! I get some amazing thank you notes. Happy anglers of any age are pretty rewarding for me.

Johnny was very insightful. He took his time with us and answered all of our questions. He even showed me a trick for taking the fish off of a swallowed hook! I really enjoyed his class. I’d love to take more of his classes to learn even more tricks/tools to catch bigger fish!!!

Very informative. Johnny breaks down simple, time tested methods that produce instant results. We were literally pulling fish out of the water while others fishing the pond were sitting around waiting. Kids loved the class and learned alot. Good for beginners and seasoned fishermen.
