About Chicago Sweatlodge
Every day is Father's day at the Chicago Sweatlodge. There they have two types of saunas—Russian and Turkish—after time spent in either sauna, a dip in the icy plunge pool or a cold bucket of water over the head sounds more than enticing. The Russian sauna bathes the body in dry heat, whereas the more humid Turkish sauna uses wet heat and humid air. Health benefits include riding the body of toxins and other waste, regulating body temperature, helping blood circulation, and improving skin. The Sweatlodge was even recently featured on CNN's "Somebody's Gotta Do It" TV Show.
For further relaxation, men of all ages can augment their visit with a massage, a meal, a soft drink, an Eastern European beer from their extensive beer menu, or a chilled shot of vodka. The Sweat Restaurant, recently featured on Food Networks "Craziest Restaurants In America", welcomes guests to sit down and enjoy cuisine from a menu that features Eastern European favorites and large cold, crisp salads.
