The Toy & Game Expo is always so much fun for families and especially for my family. We have been attending for many years. This year's event seemed smaller than prior Toy & Game Expo's we have attended however, it was still very fun. Each vendor was different and all vendors seemed genuinely appreciative of the families that attended visiting their booths. The ticket counter process was easy and the entrance had music provided by an incredible child DJ named Haylibug. She was so talented. Being so young, Haylibug had the support of her sweet family with her. That was wonderful to see upon walking in. Throughout the expo, there were many booths to visit and an energy in the atmosphere that screamed positivity and fun. There were many new game creators and very different booths offering everything from dolls, backpacks, clothing and everything in-between. There is so much to see and so many options no matter your interests in toys and games.

Me and my family really enjoyed ourselves. Everything and everybody were so friendly. The displays, some were alive walking around and you get to play and try out the games. The play area had bike riding, scooters riding, dancing, DJ, and and more. Me and my family will attend this event again next year. I recommend you to go next year with the whole family they will enjoy it

My whole family had so much fun trying new games, meeting the creators of all those cool toys and games. Many of the products were discounted which allowed us to buy a few games. Our favorite pick is “Pass the pandas”, which has easy to follow rules, different than many other board games, and you can play it over and over again without getting tired of it, perfect for traveling too.

About Chicago Toy & Game Fair

When toy and game inventor Mary Couzin attended Essen Fair in Germany in 2001, she was moved to see families playing together and the excitement European crowds greeted toy and game designers. Two years later, she'd founded the Chicago Toy & Game Fair at Navy Pier. Chicago is Toy & Game Inventing Capital of the World, where many beloved playthings such as Beanie Babies, Rock 'Em Sock 'Em Robots and TMX Elmo were created. Couzin continues to throw an annual two-day extravaganza the weekend before Thanksgiving. Along with international guests, inventors of classics such as Bop It, Operation, Twister, Nerf and Jenga make appearances. Attendees can enjoy giant toys and games, interactive exhibits, STEM activities, tournaments, costumed characters, stage events, a Young Inventor Challenge, National Rummikub Tournament, Yo-Yo State Championship, and more.
