Actors often draw emotions from real-life experiences, whether it’s grief from the death of a childhood pet or joy from watching two dogs kiss. Dig deep with this Groupon.
Choose Between Two Options
- $23 for one acting, improv, or musical-theater class (up to a $60 value)
- $58 for three acting, improv, or musical-theater classes (up to a $180 value)
Children aged 4–17 learn from working with stage and television actors in these one- or two-hour classes. Acting classes hone natural behavior and logical body language through improvisational work, scene study, and monologues. The instructors are versed in a number of techniques, including Stanislavski, Strasberg, and Meisner. Students move at their own pace in the musical-theater classes and learn as many songs as they can manage. The ultimate goal for those sticking around all trimester is the Off-Broadway Showcase, where students show off their ability to sell a song or act in a scene.
