One of the best ways to take in the park's awe-inspiring attractions is by wandering its numerous wilderness-winding trails, many of which have been re-opened after new amenities were installed. On the Hickory Nut Falls Trail, families can feel flecks from the falls on their faces, while trompers keeping a misty distance can traverse the Four Seasons Trail, which leads out of the meadows area, through deciduous forest, and offers a view of the Hickory Nut Falls.
The Skyline Trail allows altitude lovers to visit the highest peak in the park, 2,480-foot Exclamation Point, and must-stops along the way, including Opera Box, Devil’s Head, and tabloid pictures of what the rocks look like without makeup.
