Chocolate Tales blends indulgent erudition with a lunisolar celebration by guiding young minds ages 4–12 in an Easter-themed chocolate-making workshop. The 45-minute sweets studio begins with an interactive story about the history of chocolate followed by a chocolate-shaving session that produces tasty flakes while chipping several seconds off each confection's butterfly stroke. Next, participants learn to engineer chocolate lava cakes by employing a variety of mixing and decorating techniques. After learning basic cocoa-wielding skills, sweet-toothed students cull rich Belgian chocolates to make truffles, named for their resemblance to the prized, height-altering fungi.

About Chocolate Tales
The chocolatiers at Chocolate Tales love a sweet bit a cocoa, but they love bringing people together even more. That's why they host chocolate and pastry parties, innovative events that combine the hands-on fun of chocolate and pastry making with the laid-back ambiance of a social gathering. These events can take the shape of mobile corporate team building or in-home kids birthday parties and adult soirées. The owner was inspired by his time in Europe, and brought back the continent's shared love of quality chocolates and social camaraderie, before adding his own, unique spin. At the end of each occasion, participants walk away with their own elegant, handcrafted macarons—and the unbeatable feeling of being a chocolatier.
