Definitely great experience, did not know going in that it was more hands on than the customary dogsled ride. From beginning to end, helped setup and harness the dogs. A fair amount of dog sledding and was lucky with amazing weather. Overall great ride and deal!!

Absolutely amazing experience with Chocpaw. These guys know their stuff, are kind and helpful and the dogs of course are amazing. When it comes to baggage less is more, bring only the essentials (NO MAKEUP LADIES, this is the great outdoors). Boots! Make sure they are warm, I went on a 3 day expedition and it got down to -50C... Keep your toes warm. Listen to the instructions they give you in regards to clothes, no cotton, bring warm clothes preferably wool/fleece and wool socks (so not the cabin socks from Roots... Those are mostly cotton and do not hold heat). We found hot packs useful for our digits when it got really cold. Overall, just do this! I've already booked a day trip for my dad and I, I'm completely hooked!
