First day of Karate for my boys ( 4 & 7 years of age). They were so excited when they returned home with their mom to tell me about how much they loved the experience. The instructors were really hands on and just from the first day they told me how much they had learned. I was not present during the first session but judging how my fiancé and children returned with big smiles on their faces I would definitly recommend this. Remember there is a separate fee for the uniform but in the end this Groupon totally rocks. Looking to continue the lessons long term.
They have wonderful concepts and discipline theories. I have 3 special needs children. (all bipolar/youngest also ADHD) The instructor kept my 7 yr old ADHD child's attention the entire time. They all said it was a blast. (14 yr old shy child, 11 yr old semi-anti-social child also did great)

About Choe's HapKiDo Karate Academy
Self-defense classes for kids and adults are the focus for this martial arts academy, in both group and private settings. During HapKiDo classes—a derivative
of classic karate—black-belt instructors Maurice Murphy and R.J. LoPresti lead
children through combat techniques that are designed to boost confidence,
improve focus, and avoid the high price of bodyguards. Adult training also incorporates meditation and
philosophy. The staff offers up nutrition tips throughout
class, and are available for one-on-one consultations.
