Chris McWilliams believes that photos capture more than mere images. The lighting, the atmosphere, each subject’s facial expression: these disparate elements come together to create a mood that distinguishes each photograph from the next. It’s no surprise, then, that Chris prefers laughter to be the soundtrack at her photo shoots. The skilled photographer creates an upbeat, relaxed atmosphere by personally engaging with her subjects. Whether warming up shy children, easing the anxieties of stiffened adults, or making babies smile with with strange animal noises or playing "peek-a-boo", Chris seems to always know how to bring out the best in her subjects. In addition to composing artistic portraits, she memorializes weddings with lighthearted pictures of newlywed couples and as well as elegant and classic photographs of the bride and groom.
