It was a good tour and we saw some dolphins and few humpback whales. The crew were friendly and knowledgeable. Only negative feedback is our tour lasted only 2:30 hours instead of 3 hours.

Wonderful experience whale watching with Chris’s Whale Watching Tours. The staff was extremely helpful and attentive from the phone call to book through the boat docking at the end and all points in between. The boat captain was very knowledgeable and informative and was able to provide us with viewings of not only whales but of other marine mammals as well. The boat was clean and well maintained

Amazing customer service. My 6 year old got seasick (we all took Dramamine) and the gentlemen helping us was awesome. It was a day with some rough swells but seeing the gray whales, dolphins, otters and sea lions made it all worth it. Thanks much!

Great experience! The crew was really nice and we were able to see 6 whales and a few dolphins. Everyone onboard was wearing masks and we felt safe.

Great adventure. We saw grey whales, dolphins, sea otters, and seals. Captain provided education about sea life. Boat was well equipped for safety. Everyone should take motion sickness medication 30 minutes to an hour before getting on the boat. 3 people said they didn’t need it then proceeded to be sick the whole time we were out at sea.

About Chris’ Whale Watching Tours

The Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary is home to 27 species of marine mammals, more than 100 species of marine birds, and 345 species of fish, as well as the leatherback turtle. Captain Chris Arcoleo, Sr. and his fellow skippers introduce visitors to this marine wildlife menagerie during three-hour narrated tours of the sanctuary. Collectively, the skippers captain three different vessels equipped with all of the standard safety features, as well as sonar, radar, and eco-friendly twin engines. This technology—plus the captains' vast experience—gives groups unforgettable glimpses of the area's marine life, including the possibility of an up-close encounter with gray or humpback whales. Passengers should also keep their eyes peeled for Pacific white-sided dolphins, California sea lions, otters, harbor seals, and pirate ghosts.
