About Christian's, A Wood Fired Grille
The phrase "wood-fired" almost always describes pizza, but chef Christian Ferreira puts his oven to work throughout the entire menu of New American food at Christian's, A Wood Fired Grille. He adds a wood-fired kiss to everything from his salmon drizzled in creme fraiche to the prime new york strip steak in a port wine reduction to the cheeseburger.
Of course, it would be a shame to not use the oven for pizzas, so he whips up a selection of wood-fired pies, all topped in fresh mozzarella, fontina, and pecorino cheeses. His creations are simple yet gourmet; take the Bronzo Classico, for example. It's topped in garlic, red onions, heirloom tomatoes, and basil, with the sophisticated addition of fried capers and truffle oil.
