What You'll Get
Like spritzing an email with cologne, blowing kisses at a movie screen is a heartfelt romantic gesture that proves fruitless in attracting movie stars. Experience unrequited love with today's Groupon: for $24, you get a movie package for four at Chunky's Cinema Pub in Haverhill; Nashua, New Hampshire; or Pelham, New Hampshire (up to a $56 total value). The movie package includes:
- Four admissions valid Monday through Thursday (up to a $29 value)
- $10 voucher for pub fare and nonalcoholic drinks valid Monday through Thursday
- Four popcorns (a $17 value)
At Chunky's Cinema Pub, movie-goers dine from a full menu of pub fare while watching new releases in reclining leather seats that were taken out of limousines. As on-screen actors save the world or fall in love with a traffic signal, real-life patrons gather inside roomy screening rooms around tables that seat up to eight viewers. Squash appetites with steaks, burgers, and sandwiches themed after famous movies, such as the Bring It On smothered-chicken sandwich ($8.99), or the Italian Job gourmet pizza's lightly grilled flatbread covered with buffalo chicken or steak and peppers ($9.99). Most screening rooms open at least one hour prior to the start of each flick, allowing for prefilm dining, but waitstaff take orders during movies as well. Click here for a list of current showtimes.
3D movies require an additional $3 charge.

About Chunky's Cinema Pub
Chunky's Cinema Pub has been mixing the polished glimmer of modern technology with the gauzy glow of yesteryear for almost two decades. Eight screens mingle first-run blockbusters with themed throwback classics catering to children of the ’50s or ’80s. There, in the glow of the previews, is another testament to the melding of time—a contemporary dinner-and-a-movie setup brings with it the nostalgia of old-school drive-ins. Instead of traditional cinema chairs, individual cushy Lincoln Continental surround communal dinner tables, and the seats roll and recline to let guests maximize their comfort and customize their sightlines as they catch the onscreen action and pretend to be backseat drivers. At their tables, American pub snacks and entrées from the extensive menu spread out, combining movies with burgers, quesadillas, and steak tips.
While the theater blends old with new, Chunky's Bio Truck zooms into the future with a gas tank full of the 100% trans-fat-free canola oil used for cooking in the kitchen. The bio-fuel reduces the truck's greenhouse emissions and helps to decrease its carbon footprint, spreading an eco-conscious message to the community.
