Though coveting thy neighbor's wife or underground sprinkler system is beyond the pale, longing for a mouthful of his cuisine is an understandable desire. Today's Groupon satisfies desires to eat from the table of our nation's neighbor. For $7, you get $15 worth of Mexican cuisine at Church Street Café. The café serves a menu of authentic Mexican fare and newfangled dishes inside "Casa de Ruiz", one of the oldest residences in Albuquerque and one of the oldest structures in New Mexico. Empareados (sandwiches) include the green chile smothered Pollo De Ruiz ($7.50), and comidas de neuvo (new Mexican entrees) trot out the red chile marinated Carne Adovada al Horno ($14.95). Complement a meal with Carlo Rossi Sangria ($6.50 per glass) and the fried-pork Chicarrones ($6.50).

- My family has been in New Mexico since the late 1950s and my parents are still in ABQ. Hands down, Church Street is our favorite. The food is authentic and good; breakfast is wonderful. Coffee is excellent. It is a tradition now, when we all come back to visit to have breakfast at Church Street and to sit on the patio (during the summer). – jaklyn1055, TripAdvisor
- The location is fantastic - right in Old Town. The building is a gorgeous old house that is deceptively large and spacious and very well set-up. – Taylor B. Yelp
