About Ciao Vino (A Wine Guy Company)
Growing up, Craig Decker, "The Wine Guy", dined with Italian relatives who instilled in him their passion for old-world delicacies and family-style feasts. One of those family members, Carmela Rosato, even taught Craig the lasagna recipe he still uses today: topping two layers of seasoned beef with a double helping of ricotta and red sauce. That lasagna is now one of the house specialties at Ciao Vino, Craig's Italian eatery inspired by Carmela. The menu encompasses both traditional and less common Italian flavors, including wild mushroom ravioli and bruschetta topped with grilled steak and zinfandel-braised onions. Nearly 250 imported and domestic wines, with 40 by the glass, can complement Ciao Vino's meals, which unfold both indoors and on a roomy outdoor patio.
