Cibo e Vino
Cibo e Vino. The phrase means "food and drink" in Italian, and, while that's certainly what you'll get when you visit the restaurant of the same name, it belies the talents of the culinary team within the kitchen. They're lead by Chef John, a pasta expert who's shared his prowess during appearances on network affiliates for Fox and ABC. His talents come through in the restaurant's scratch-made raviolis; whether stuffed with lobster or duck or a simple blend of cheeses, the pillow-like pastas deliver rich flavors with every bite. They anchor a menu of other pasta favorites, ranging from puttanesca to mostaccioli, as well as gourmet white pizzas and inventive mains such as pistachio crusted sea bass with white wine Beurre Blanc and garlic mashed potatoes. Even the salads reflect true talent; the brown sugar-glazed peach salad with candied walnuts could convince you that dessert comes first. Each of these dishes pairs well with a glass or two of wine, chosen from the restaurant's well-curated selection of domestic and Italian bottles.
