Questions and Answers 1 questions

If a bike rental is 24 hours, why does the fine print say "trips longer than 30 minutes will incur overtime fees"? What does that mean in the context of a 24 hour rental, you can ride for more than 30 minutes at a time? Please clarify.

Sorry for the confusion. You'll have access to using the Citi Bike for a total of 24 hours. However, you can only take a bike out for 30 minutes at a time or an overtime fee will be incurred. That means that you can check a bike in an out as frequently as you'd like over the course of 24 hours, but only for 30 minutes at a time each trip. I suggest checking out their website by clicking here to learn more.
