About City Service Brewing
Dick Tuescher's dream came true on June 1, 2017 when he moved his home brewing practices to City Service Brewing, a 1930's service station that he and long time friend and building owner Ted Thuli restored to its original style, but converted it into a brewery. The station also houses a coffee shop and Ted's Stuff (which provides antiques and collectibles). City Service Brewing provides something for everyone by bringing up the nostalgia of the past with the craft made beer, soda, coffee, and antiques. Each beer is named after something to do with automobiles. The products imitate the layout of the brewery, complete with a bar built out of a 1962 Lincoln Continental Convertible. and their walls decorated with plenty of old-fashioned gas station signs and car memorabilia. Guests can enjoy their signature beverages, including:
- Red Line: Dick's first brew, this Irish red is a combination of a light brown and an amber ale with a malty caramel notes. This brew is perfect for those looking for something other than a hoppy IPA. (5.3% ABV)
- Road Trip: A mild English bitter beer, this batch marries flavors of a pale ale and malty beer. (4.2% ABV)
- Sodas: City Service Brewing also has their own line of in-house sodas for those who aren't a fan of beer flavors. They offer Root beer, cream soda and old fashioned strawberry soda for a refreshing, flavorful treat
