Q:

Hi, I will be in San Antonio tomorrow and would like to get the double decker city bus tickets for myself and two 17 year olds. What is my best option? Also, if we ride the bus how long does it take to travel the entire route if you do not get off? Thank you

Morna H.  asked on  Feb 25, 2012

A:

Hello Morna - It will be cheapest for you to by one Groupon Tour For 2 for $17 and then on the day a $15 student ticket on the bus from your driver. It takes one hour to do the whole tour but your ticket means you can hop on and off as much as you wish. Thanks

Q:

what is the cost for 5 adults? I didn't see that in the Q & A. Betty

Elizabeth G.  asked on  Feb 24, 2012

A:

Hello Betty - Your cheapest option is to buy the Tour For 4 Groupon for $30 and then on the day purchase one more $17 adult ticket from your driver for your fifth adult. So, instead of paying a total 17 x 5 = $85, you will be paying 30 + 17 = $47. Thank you.

Q:

We will be staying at the Drury Plaza RIVERWALK Hotel Mar 17-25, 2012. Which stop would be closest to board the tour bus, i.e.within walking distance of the hotel. We will not have a vehicle. Thank you.

EDWARD B.  asked on  Feb 24, 2012

A:

Hello Edward - Stop 4 is right by your hotel, on N St Mary's Street. Your concierge can tell you exactly where (where all the other local buses pick-up) but you are right next to that stop 4. Please see our website brochure map. Thank you.

Q:

I am interested in this deal but need some clarification. Does it take you back to the Menger at the end of the tour or are the two disembark locations only Hemisfair Park and the Museo Alameda? The reason I ask is that I am unable to walk long distances and would not be able to walk back to the parking lot from either of those locations. This would make a difference in my purchase of this deal. Thank you.

Sheila D.  asked on  Feb 22, 2012

A:

Hello Sheila - yes the tour ends up back at The Menger Hotel, or you can use one of any of the 12 stops on the route, such as HemisFair Park and Museo Alameda - whichever suits you best. But if the Menger is what suits your particular needs, that is no problem. The Menger is actually where most of our passengers hop on and off anyway. Thanks.
