Great experience, we were confused how to book this so we went a day prior to make sure how it works. The day of, show up, show voucher and they redeem it, no need to book it before. We got to get off at treasure island and take a few pictures.
  • Hop on or off anywhere
  • Fully narrated tours
  • 48 hours to redeem all three tours

Getting to know San Francisco by commercial airplane is challenging due to the city's flight restrictions and the inability of commercial airplanes to hover. Today's Groupon makes seeing the city easier with a trio of double-decker bus tours built into one from City Sightseeing for $25. Follow along a fully narrated tour with hop-ons and hop-offs as you explore the Downtown Loop, Golden Gate Loop, and the best of the city at night while wearing svelte detective pants.

San Francisco won't shake your hand, but it's happy to let you explore its expanses. The City Sightseeing trio tour guides you through many of the city's hottest spots, areas, and attractions while giving you the freedom to get on and off anywhere you like for meticulous sleuthing, shopping, eating, or picture taking. All three tours last roughly 90 minutes, and once you begin your journey, you have 48 hours to redeem the full length of each tour. Buses operate throughout the day, so you can see the sights at your own pace. The Night Loop tour takes sightseers through Alamo Square, Chinatown, the Civic Center, Bay Bridge, Alcatraz, and more; the Golden Gate Loop offers the Exploratorium at the Palace of Fine Arts as well as views from Pacific Heights; and the Downtown tour tours downtown.

If you've been living in the city for a while, today's Groupon is the perfect way to get out there and absorb the city's sights. It's also the perfect way to give visiting family and friends a megadose of culture so you'll all have something other than animals dressed like former presidents to talk about over dinner.

Your meeting location is determined by which leg of the tour you choose to start with. The Downtown Loop and Night Loop tours meet at 2800 Leavenworth St., and the Golden Gate Loop tour meets at Fisherman's Wharf.

  • Great way to see the city and all the sights it has to offer. I liked the fact that City Sightseeing allows you to jump off and on, as you wish. The buses are excellent, there are plenty of them, and the people are very informative, friendly and helpful. ¬– insmith, TripAdvisor
  • I worked in San Francisco for over 12 years. I thought I knew the city! I ended up taking a City Sightseeing Tour bus with some friends and had a fabulous time. I had never noticed much of city until I took this tour...being on the top of the bus provides a perspective like no other. Fantastic! Don't miss this tour...especially if you're local! – SFBayAreaFriend, TripAdvisor
  • Great tour!!! Gotta check out Golden Gate Park and Downtown from up above. This is an awesome way to see the city, get some pix, travel, and find out interesting history and rockin' things to see and do. The tour guides are fabulously friendly and full of cool facts. – Guinevere Y., Yelp
