Born into bluegrass royalty, Nathan Stanley made his music debut at age 2, taking the stage at the Grand Ole Opry alongside his grandfather, Dr. Ralph Stanley. Nathan has played for the Queen of England and recorded a hit single with Vince Gill (“White Dove.”) He’s definitely coming out as a star in his own right, but he still travels and performs with his grandfather. Dr. Ralph Stanley is one of the most influential bluegrass artists of all time. His haunting rendition of “Oh Death” was featured in the film O Brother Where Art Thou and he’s bee inducted into the Grand Ole Opry and the International Bluegrass Music Hall of Honor. Now he takes the stage with his grandson once more in this special appearance at City Winery.
