This fun walking tour takes you on a unique and informative exploration of Manhattan's Financial District, including Wall Street and parts of Downtown. Over the course of just two miles, learn the history and culture of the district, from its Dutch roots to its place as the center of the modern financial world. Your guide will also speak about some of Downtown's famous figures, rivalries, and sites, from Peter Stuyvesant to Alexander Hamilton and J.P. Morgan. You'll see the city's oldest public building and the site where George Washington became America's first president. And you'll visit Battery Park, where you'll take in historical anecdotes about the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island.
