Need To Know
About Clarke's Off Campus
Since first opening its doors in 1985, Clarke's Diner has perfected one skill in particular: hitting the spot. For some guests, that might mean ordering dinner in the morning; for others, it might mean breakfast at night. Whatever the case, Clarke's offers a classic diner experience at three locations around Chicago, including Evanston and Lincoln Park.
Inside, guests dig into huge skillets, such as a South of the Border version with chorizo, hot peppers, and Clarke's homemade salsa. They also feast upon classic grilled cheese sandwiches, chicken salad sandwiches, and Windy City–themed burgers that could only be more Chicago if they were served wearing Al Capone's Bears jersey. Even some of the diner's sides have earned a loyal following, especially the addictive sweet potato fries that do the trick no matter the time of day.
