$57 for Dinner and a Show for Two (Up to $130 Value)

This deal is valid for any performance of Class Act Dinner Theatre’s production of Mama Won’t Fly. The show will typically run Thursday–Sunday in January and February 2013. Click here to view an exact schedule. No-nonsense businesswoman Savannah Sprunt Fairchild Honeycutt takes on an endeavour more complicated than it seems in Mama Won’t Fly, penned by the playwrights at Jones Hope Wooten. She agrees to truck her cantankerous mother across the country in time for her brother’s wedding—a task that would be a lot easier if the play were named something else. As it is, the two must make the journey in Mama’s rundown sedan, but this is only the start of their problems. Their in-law-to-be, Hayley Quinn, shows up in Alabama unannounced with the bizarre notion that a transnational road trip is the best way to bond with her near-relatives, an idea she comes to regret by the time it’s too late to turn back. Before they make it to California, the trio will have to face carjackers, slap-happy aunts, and Vegas ministers with an unseemly propensity for violence. While wackiness unspools on stage, audiences enjoy a four-course meal with offerings such as honey-glazed carrots in brown butter, chicken pot pie, sausage-stuffed penne in vodka sauce, and the kitchen’s specialty Angus roast beef in a secret blend of herbs.
