Their in-law-to-be, Hayley Quinn, shows up in Alabama unannounced with the bizarre notion that a transnational road trip is the best way to bond with her near-relatives, an idea she comes to regret by the time it’s too late to turn back. Before they make it to California, the trio will have to face carjackers, slap-happy aunts, and Vegas ministers with an unseemly propensity for violence.
