What You'll Get
Jump to: Reviews
Whenever we feel ourselves growing grim around the mouth, we account it high time to get to sea as soon as possible, preferably with a glass of champagne in hand. Today's deal takes you aboard an 80-foot yacht courtesy of Classic Harbor Line for $26. You'll skim along the water at sunset, feeling the soft breeze ruffle your hair, drinking in the peaceful beauty of the city lights and the bubbly in your glass.
Step aboard the Manhattan, Classic Harbor Line's 1920s-style commuter yacht, and set sail for a 90-minute cruise past Battery Park, the Financial District, Governor's Island, and the Statue of Liberty, as well as parts of Queens and Brooklyn, including the Williamsburg, Manhattan, and Brooklyn bridges. You'll get a 360-degree view of New York's magnificent architecture from the ship's cozy, enclosed back-deck observatory.
A modicum of complimentary champagne, beer, soda, or wine will be served on the journey, and mixed drinks are available for purchase. No food is included, but pack a picnic and nibble as you float. Get two Groupons for a romantic evening on the water, or get a few and bring along a group of friends to see the sun set over Manhattan as you never have before.
Available dates: November 5–7, 10, 12–16, 19–29. Call or email by November 12 to reserve your spot.
- The yacht is very pretty - a glassed in room with banquettes and tables so every seat is a good seat. Even the bathrooms were nice! Our cruise had about 30 people, half groups and half couples, so you could mix if you wanted or find a corner to be alone in. The staff was great - very friendly and informative. – smdny, Citysearch
- About 10 friends and I went on the evening boat ride to celebrat [sic] our friend's birthday. We didn't rent the whole boat out, but we were able to sit together and it worked-out great. Everyone loved it (even those who were skeptical at first). – deborahmaher, Citysearch
- Great date, nice and quiet when sailing past the statue of liberty. Beautiful view of the city...Highly advised. – ryanandhez, Zerve
