Q:

I have a few 30 minute VHS-C tapes that I'd like to transfer to DVD. My question is: what is considered a single transfer? Is it the number of individual VHS-C tapes in this case, or is it the amount of cumulative time needing to be converted? I ask because it shows that 2 hours of tape would cost extra. Does this mean I could combine 4 of my VHS-C tapes as a single transfer since it would be 2 hours? Thanks for your help!

Rafael N.  asked on  Dec 2, 2013

A:

Hello Rafael, The minimum charge for each tape is $ 19.95. If any of your tapes are more than two hours an additional charge of $ 9.95 per hour would be added.

Q:

I have what I believe are six 3" 8mm reels. Is this covered by the groupon? If not, how much would it cost to transfer these to dvd? I do not know how many feet are on each reel. Also, about 10 years ago another company attempted to transfer the 8mm reels to a VHS tape. The VHS tape plays the video upside down. They said it was because the video camera was held upside down while taping, which is ridiculous. Can you transfer the upside down VHS tape onto dvd and have it play right side up? It probably would be a better quality transfer to have you do the transfer from the original 8mm reels though, right? Thanks. Mary F.

Mary F.  asked on  Dec 1, 2013

A:

Good morning Mary, Your film is not part of the Groupon special. We can transfer your film to DVD and edit in the computer in order to see it right side up. The estimated cost to transfer and edit to play it right side up would be around $ 75.00.

Q:

Thank you for answering my question. Am I correct that your price is $24.95 for EACH audio cassette transfer to CD? If so, then my next question is : Do you ever run Groupon or other sales on cassette transfers? I'm interested, but I have to find a better price or will have to nix the idea. Thanks again.

Karen L.  asked on  Nov 30, 2013

A:

Hello, We never feature audio cassette transfers to CDs because there is very little demand for them these days. However, if you bring in more than one I can offer you an in store discount.

Q:

Is it possible to convert old audio cassette tapes to cds? If so, what would it cost? The cassettes are of my daughter and her friends singing.

Karen L.  asked on  Nov 30, 2013

A:

Hi Karen, Yes we can convert old audio cassette tapes to cds. However, that service is not included in the Groupon. We charge $ 24.95 for the transfer and $ 5.00 for additional copies.
