During the Montreal Expo of 1967, Robert, a middle-aged police detective, questions Yves, a young gay street hustler who has just been arrested for fatally stabbing his lover, Claude. Robert demands to know what motivated Yves to kill his boyfriend, and in response Yves tells him the story of his and Claude's life together, and how their relationship evolved to the point where murder was the only possible conclusion. Being at Home With Claude takes to the stage at The Actors Company in Los Angeles.
