Q:

In the context of glass fusing does BYOB mean "bring your own [glass] bottle"?

Martha Guynes M.  asked on  Aug 14, 2012

A:

You may bring a beverage of your choice to enjoy before the class begins. Although we do slump (cleaned) glass wine bottles. They make great little dishes for cheese/crackers and other snacks!

A:

We've had several people call us today to ask what BYOB means. It means Bring Your Own Bottle. So you can bring your favorite beverage to enjoy BEFORE we start the class. No bottles will be sacrificed to the kiln gods for this fused glass vase...promise!

Q:

I have taken several beginning & intermediate classes at another studio. Could I buy the slump glass groupon?

Nuala S.  asked on  Aug 14, 2012

A:

If you have taken another class elsewhere, call Sandi @ 210-402-6656 to verify. This intermediate class is not for beginners and we will not be teaching how to cut. This is more of a workshop.
