Q:

What does a "Full-face Resurfacing Treatment" include? I am 51 with enlarged pores, fine lines (a few deeper) and a lot of facial spider veins.....will this treatment help these issues? Would these same issues require multiple treatments?

Dorothy D.  asked on  Apr 15, 2013

A:

This treatment is ablative, meaning that it will eradicate layers of skin that have incurred damage from aging, sun damage, etc. It helps with skin complexion, pore size, collagen regeneration, and overall health of the skin. However, it generally does not help with fine spider veins. We do another laser treatment specifically for spider veins on the face or other parts of the body as well.

The actual treatment takes one hour in total time. The recovery time varies from 3-10 days. Even after you are healed it is recommended to avoid the sun for at least 1 month after the treatment for optimal results.
