Q:

do these peels diminish fine lines around mouth and eyes?

ruza d.  asked on  Mar 7, 2013

A:

Hi Ruza, this is considered a superficial peel. It will help with fine lines but will not eliminate them. If you like, I would be glad to evaluate your skin and give you a more exact answer. I will gladly waive the consultation fee. Please let the front office know that you emailed me and they can set time aside to go over your options. Kind regards, Dr. Shawn A.

Q:

HI, would type of peel remove sun damage and spots from the face? If so, how many treatments do you generally suggest to completely remove all brown spots.

Marcia S.  asked on  Mar 7, 2013

A:

Hi Marcia, thank you for the email.. this peel will lighten sun damage but will not eliminate them. The peels we are offering is our Clear Signature Peel and is a great peel for minimizing sun damage and exfoliating skin. It does a great job, but will not completely remove sun spots. Kind regards, Dr. Shawn A.

Q:

does this peel get rid of fine lines around mouth and eyes (crowsfeet)? will i need 3 peels to do this?

ruza d.  asked on  Mar 7, 2013

A:

Hi Ruza, Thank you for the question. This peel nor any I'm aware of will actually "get rid of" crowsfeet and lines around the mouth. These peels are designed to exfoliate and help soften fine lines and sun damage and leave skin looking fresh and bright. These peels also help with acne and acne scars. hope this helps, Kind regards, Dr. Shawn A

Q:

When you say that a few days later there is full exfoliation, is there a lot of redness and flaking, or is subtle? I have had one peel that left me red and severe flaking and I have had some that are very subtle, barely noticeable. Are there different levels (percentages) to choose from? Thanks

Carrie C.  asked on  Mar 6, 2013

A:

Hi Carrie, you can expect to get mild to moderate flaking. Most patients do not report redness. While we cannot guarantee you won't get "red", it is not common. Also, we can modify the peel to be light or intense depending on what you desire. Hope this helps. Kind regards, Dr. Shawn A
